Congratulations to Nicholas Hanke, 2016 John Michael Kohler Arts Center Senior Honor Recital Winner!

Nicholas Hanke, a student of Joyful Music Studio and Howards Grove High School, will be playing in the JMKAC Senior Honors Recital on Sunday, May 1 at 2:00pm. This is a great opportunity to hear some wonderful talent in these four seniors! Tickets are $5 or $4 for Arts Center members.

Nick has prepared a 20-minute portion of the recital and will be playing Concertino by Ferdinand David, For He That is Mighty by J.S. Bach, and Morceau Symphonique by Alexandre Guilmant. He will also be playing David's Concertino at his State Solo & Ensemble Music Festival later this month.

Nick will be attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the fall, majoring in Music Education. He has been preparing for this by also studying piano, cello, and baritone. I am very proud of all that he has accomplished and excited for his future in music!
